Hello,
I would really like to have a current Linux Mint with Fluxbox. I loved LM9 Fluxbox version but it is already obsolete. Are there any tips for getting the look of that version in LM13 with Fluxbox? I am especially interested in getting the Tint2 panel and the look of LM9 FB. Thank you.

Could I just run a Live CD of LM9 Fluxbox and copy the .fluxbox folder over to my LM13?

OK, I installed all the files that are on LM9 Fluxbox page:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install tint2
Enabled tint2 in the autostart file:
tint2 &

Now, how do I get the menu style like it was in LM9 Fluxbox?

In the lm9 fluxbox cd. Look in the Home folder for a config folder. You may have to have show hidden files selected. In the config folder you should see a tint2 folder.
Copy the contents of that folder over to your lm13 fluxbox install into the same folder.
