Gnome-do on Fluxbox?

I think this is more of a gnome-do question than a fluxbox one, but as it relates to an install on fluxbox I will ask it here anyway.

First, gnome-do installs and runs perfectly on fluxbox, (and I am not talking about docky btw which definitely doesn't work), it will do most things I want of it except one - it won't open files and folders unless you use the "open with" selection. If you just search for a file (any sort it doesn't matter) and click 'Open' it wont do it. I guess the reason for this is pretty simple, it it looking for a gnome based program to open the file or folder with and fluxbox doesn't have them installed. (This doesn't explain why it won't open an .odt open office file though - unless I choose 'open with' then select Open Office Writer?).

I have spent ages looking for a gnome-do config file where I could alter the default programs for various file types, but I can't find one, so has anyone got this fully working on fluxbox and if so how?

I have had the same issue. I've only tried about 5 times and a folder has never opened in Fluxbox. But in gnome I tend to have the same issue as well. It seems like almost half the time a folder does not open for me. So I don't know if it is a Fluxbox issue as much as something with that plugin? I can't seem to find a bug report on it though so it must not be a common problem... I hope someone knows something. We are probably better off looking and asking on the gnome-do launchpad pages:
https://launchpad.net/do
https://launchpad.net/do-plugins

I don't have that problem with Gnome at all, I can open anything I want to with that, it is only on Fluxbox that it doesn't work.

You are right about launchpad I put a question up there as well. I will let you know the answer if I get one.

Yes, or at least I thought so, I said so in the opening post. Unfortunately I am no longer so sure, because I have since installed the fluxbox wm on top of gnome so that nautilus is the default file manager, but it still won't open anything unless you choose 'open with'.

So it is obviously not as simple as I thought.
