how do I put a trashcan in the tint2 panel and how do I put icons on the desktop.I like fluxbox but its kind of a hassle.

At the moment, tint2 does not have application launchers.Sorry, no 'trashcan'

I don't use Fluxbox ... and I don't know if you can put icons on the desktop.

Fluxbox is a light-weight desktop environment. Perhaps, you need a more Full Featured Desktop.

If you want icons on the desktop, application launchers on the task bar and so on it can be done.

But why not try something like Xfce which already has these ?
