Tried all above ... also reversed the 'Blacklisted' and still the same.

i wouldn't have pursued it unless i thought i had a bum disk burn - but all chsum and cd checks ok - os seems to be functioning fine too (except for this issue).

Don't know why it's showing the 2 kernel modules tho.

Since fluxbox is lighter, thought would be best for the older computer. At this point i think i will stick with what's working for me (Gnome mint)

add: this stubborn mule will re-install again and see if i can take a look at another fresh install before i hang it up to dry :mrgreen:

Start your network option, and if wifi is available near your terminal then it can identify from your wifi detector. You can connect it from that wifi address and can use the internet as same. Some more wiki also available in internet, you can also take help from it.

not with fluxbox mint on my system ... with regular gnome mint - yes it works. (that was the reason for the post in the first place) - wiki info good reference ... but no help with this issue - Thanks tho for the response :wink:
