LM9 Fluxbox USB external drive mount error.

Post by globetrotterdk »

I am experiencing a problem with a newly installed and updated LM9 Fluxbox on an Eee PC 700X. When I plug in an external USB drive, an error message pops-up stating that the drive is already mounted at root. I have searched the forum but it doesn't look like anyone else has experienced this. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi!
Don't know if I can help; I first would compare /etc/fstab, /etc/mtab and the output of "mount".

Thanks for the prompt reply. Weird. Put a USB pen drive in to use the "mount" command and it worked fine. I tried the external HD (500 GB) Iomega and now that works as well. I will post again if the problem returns.
