<SOLVED> LXDE ON GNOME 3

Recently installed Mint 12 64-bit . . decided to give the LXDE desktop a go . . installed fine, but I'm given no option to sign in on it . . I've tried both logoff and restart, nothing. Suggestions?

we you log out at the login prompt click on the little gear looking Icon and lxde should be there if it installed properly.
