missing source?

I wanted to get the source package for a few programs, and, being more familiar with Ubuntu, did the Ubuntu thing: apt-get source <pkg>
Naturally I enabled the source repository from repository "Main".
However there doesn't seem to be any source in that repository for Mint as there would be for the machines I have running Ubuntu.

Apparently Mint is set up differently.
Pray tell, how to I find the source repository in Mint, other than doing the obvious, which doesn't seem to work?

I was looking for isync, telnet-ssl (aka netkit-telnet-ssl), telnetd-ssl (aka netkit-telnetd-ssl), but I tried a lot of others and nothing seemed to be there.

I am running Mint 13 Mate 64bit, 100% up to date, installed a few weeks ago.

Enabling the source repository through Software Sources only enables the Linux Mint source repository; not the Ubuntu source repository. To enable the Ubuntu source repository, you have to do that manually.

Edit your /etc/apt/sources.list file (instead of gedit use pluma for MATE, or if using KDE do "kdesu kate" instead of "gksudo gedit"):

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Duplicate each line starting with "deb" and then replace "deb" to "deb-src". Close and save the file. Then update your cache to activate:

sudo apt-get update

As an example, here is my sources.list. In red the added lines (each line is a duplicate of the line before it, with "deb" changed to "deb-src").
