Ethernet not working ? on RM Mobile One laptop

i've installed mint mate on an old RM Mobile One laptop, i think it has a Realtek RTL8103EL 10/100 Ethernet.

Mint cant seem to see the the Realtek RTL8103EL 10/100 Ethernet.

I don't know if the nic is broken or not, as i got the laptop for nothing.

The wireless works fine. as does the mobile broadband dongle.

Its not listed in network adapters and using console commands to display netwok info it is not listed.

Here is what inxi -SNxc 0 returns
