Network Settings will be discard after reboot

OS: Linux Mint 14.1 Mate x86

Hi,

if i try to change any information under "Menu -> Administration -> Network" the changes will only be available until I reboot the machine. I created an "Locaction" profile, but this will not be loaded automatically and I do not know where I can set this.

What could I do?
