how to uninstall softwares,format pen drives

guys i am a begginer of linux and im using mint daryna......i dont know how to uninstall a sofware,dont know how to format a pen drive and forgot the command for displaying the list of commands...

If your using the Mint menu, the far left column will have "Package Manager" in it, or go to Administration> Synaptic. That is the standard way of installing/uninstalling software. To format USB or hard drives, go to Administration>Partition Editor. Plug in your USB drive, open partition editor, and the top right corner will have a drop down menu button that will show all available drives. The rest should be self explanatory from there.
