Wondering if I could have inadvertently found a way to throttle my internet speed. Both wireless and wired I'm only getting 6-15kbs downloads (trying to download a debian stable image). wget & http same speeds. If I torrent I top out at around 20-25kbs.
However even with those results on the actual downloads my speedtests at speedtest.net are showing 4.5 down, 2 up give or take with sub 100 ping / latency. Last night while downloading it spiked and I was flying along at 400-600 kbs for a couple hours, now today back to these super low speeds. Is there some way I could even affect this ? Webpages are also fairly slow to load most of the time.
