I am Using Mint KDE 16 and i have manually configured my Proxy and the ip address. i am able to connect to internet
But the apt-get is not able to connect to the server for update
Kindly me in configuring

Can the Proxy be the problem?
There are a lot of situations where a proxy stops you from doing anything but browsing the internet.
