Hi,
An ongoing task has been to make it easy to play music from my NAS. I noticed a setting somewhere which I selected (I can't for the life of me remember where it was though) that looked like it might enable streaming (UPNP or LDAP or similar?) & lost all network connectivity.
I'm not that familiar with the network workings of Linux, compounded by the fact that I've just upgraded to the latest & things are different.
If I boot into my old installation, it all works fine, so it is not hardware.
How can I make a clean start with my network settings please?
TIA
Somehow broke network connectivity

Re: Somehow broke network connectivity
Somehow sorted now. Looked at a lot of things, made a lot of changes which didn't do anything.
Also removed a duff PPA entry (SQLite browser) using the terminal. Can that have done it, cleaning the PPA list?
Anyway, seem to be up & running again.
