Hardware:
MSI P67A-G45 motherboard
So, my internet was working fine, up until I attempted to slim the size of my Winsxs file. After my reboot, some key system files were corrupted. So I reinstall Windows, and here is where things get funny. My ethernet doesn't work on either Windows or Mint. Mint doesn't even seem to know I have an ethernet port, and Windows can't connect. So as of right now, I'm using my phone to tether my computer to the interwebs. Oh and Windows crapped out again... I did attempt to use a USB Wireless N adapter, but it doesn't seem to want to connect to my wireless network (connection times out and prompts for the security key). Another problem, for another time. So if I want internets, I have to use my phone either as a Wifi Adapter (works perfectly) or through tethering. I know it's not the cable or the network, as they both worked fine on my laptop, which is also running Linux Mint 11 x64.LAN
