I like it a lot. It's class and elegant but it's not the image we want to give. Other distributions chose this kind of dark theme (Ubuntu Studio, Sabayon) and it's simply not the direction we want to take.

It is very good looking though and I will definitely look into adding this kind of theme as an alternative in Daryna and future versions Mint.
