Sorry to suggest a new task for somebody else to complete, but...
It would be really helpful to have a spreadsheet or comparison table which lists the differences between the different editions of Mint.
It would list the edition (KDE / Gnome / LXDE / XFCE / etc; the system requirements; the default included software for each version. The idea is for it to be one page so you can easily see which apps are the same between editions and which apps are different between editions. A few comments about which DE has which functions/features (explaining different menu structures and so on) would be helpful too.
This should make choosing an edition a little easier.

Unfortunately a spreadsheet like that would not be anywhere close to one page if it includes the software in each.
