Hey guys, first of all the only linux distro I've ever tried before was mint 9. It's currently running on my family's desktop and we've been having no problem with it!
My question is, with my own personal laptop should I dual boot windows 7 and Mint 10 or Windows 7 and Ubuntu Studio? I'm mainly going to be doing artwork and school work along with browsing. Can you guys give me some pros and cons of chosing one over the other? To my understanding Ubuntu Studio is just ubuntu with extra programs and the likes included right?
On a side note, how in the world do you install a wacom bamboo fun in linux? I tried it once around 6 months ago and failed utterly...
Thanks in advance guys!
Mint 10, or Ubuntu Studio?

Re: Mint 10, or Ubuntu Studio?
I've tried Ubuntustudio (based on lucid) for a while and it was incredible. The main thing with it is that it is running a real-time kernel which
is a good thing. For music production you really need it. For the artstuff you probably will do as well with mint.
