Linux Mint Lisa (GNOME...) - which forum should I use?

I'm confused, since none of the forums seem to state GNOME... and as far as I know I am not using the Debian version....

Perhaps I am not the only one who is slightly confused about this and all the versions and releases of Linux Mint?

Gnome is a desktop environment, like is KDE or LXDE or XFCE. They all work in pretty much the same way though; you can use apps from different DEs interchangeably.
You should use the forums based on the specific issues or questions you have. For example, a question or issue about wireless should go in the Networking category, and so on.

Main Edition Support :)

If you see LM following by number , it mean base on ubuntu. If not following by desktop environment is main edition (GNOME)
LM 12 : Main edition ( Gnome3 and MATE ), base on ubuntu 11.10
LM 12 KDE : LM 12 with KDE
LM 11 : Main edition ( gnome 2), base on ubuntu 11.04
LM 11 LXDE : LM 11 with LXDE

LMDE is rolling release base on Debian , it not following by number and have to two version : Gnome and XFCE
see http://www.linuxmint.com/oldreleases.php for complete LM edition.
