AIM: Providing a better and fairer solution to linux on disk for the community.



This project will provide Linux on CD for a range of distributions, starting with Linux Mint. A percentage of the cost of each CD will be donated to the developers of the project, along with other good causes such as carbon offsetting and funding a school expedition to ecuador.

I am aware that Linux Mint already has an on disk solution however this project offers this service at a reduced price but still pledges to donate a greater amount to the developers than this current solution and any further profits will go to another good cause.

I would do that but I just don't have the extra cash ever. I want to give a lump sum sometime though to them sometime though.

I wish you the best with this project...it really seems like a worthy effort.

The website really needs a contact/about page. I can't imagine that many folks would go through the trouble of a Paypal form without knowing who is getting the money and how to contact that person should the product not arrive or not work.
Perhaps a link to "About Linux Disk" with the content:
Linux disk is a project of _________________ . The goals of the project are... Linux Disk can be contacted at...

or something like that...

Ah yes, you do have a good point there. To be honest I was a bit rushed with setting that up because I've been very busy as of late and if I'm going to do something I should really do it properly. I'll get something sorted out as soon as possible.
