I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask (and I did search the forum for "sort" and "sortable" before): Are sortable columns in the search results of the software portal planned? Right now it's always sorted by popularity, which is a bit annoying when looking for something by alphabet.
I didn't find a place to look for web-related tickets (at least in Launchpad), otherwise I would've tried to find an answer there.
And here's a related question: Is there a way to help with development of the website/software portal and perhaps introduce features like that?
Sortable columns in software portal?

Re: Sortable columns in software portal?
Hello, and Welcome to Linux Mint. I don't believe it has been suggested as a feature until now! We don't use launchpad for answers because the forums are a lot more knowledgeable (it's only me who regularly browses linuxmint on launchpad). We use Github for code hosting, mintInstall (Software Portal) is here: http://github.com/linuxmint/mintinstall/tree/master See http://www.linuxmint.com/blog/?p=970 or http://www.linuxmint.com/getinvolved.php for more info.
Re: Sortable columns in software portal?
Nice! Github makes a lot of sense for this kind of thing.
I'll poke around the tree there, and the blueprints at Launchpad. Thanks!
