i am experiencing the following problem: the proxy settings i applied using the default local user, are exported inside the shell but are not exported in the desktop manager and, hence, the programs like firefox are not able to connect to internet.
some details:
- - inside the shell, the http_proxy variable is set both for the local and for the ldap users
- in "network" >> "proxy settings" in the local user profile, i found the settings i put
- in "network" >> "proxy settings" in the ldap user profile, i did not find the settings i put
- i am using nadia 64 bit
i can do any test you need in order to troubleshoot the problem.
