Canon Pixma MG5350 error reading file from sd card

Postby hanslinux on Fri Mar 15, 2013 10:11 am

I'm using Mint 14 Cinnamon and have a wireless Canon Pixma MG5350 All-in-One Printer. I've installed the Canon drivers for printing and scanning and that is working fine. When I open in Nemo or Dolphin the following smb://canonprinter/canon_memory/DCIM/100NCD50 I get to see the files.

But when I try to take a look at a file, e,g. DSC_0965.JPG it does try to download the picture, but near the end I get a error like "No Data found".
Doing so from Dolphin it tries to display the image in Firefox (file:///run/user/hcl/gvfs/smb-share:server=canonprinter,share=canon_memory/DCIM/100NCD50/DSC_0965.JPG) and after almost finishing the whole image, it displays an error message.

When I do the same in Windows 7 on a laptop (wireless or connected), I don't have problems.

Any suggestions?
