3G dongle with USB extension keeps disconnecting
I use a USB extension for my USB dongle to use it on a Dell Inspiron laptop runnig Linux Mint 17.1. When I use the extension the dongle disconnects randomly and then reconnects again automatically. So i'm not able to install any software, updates or even download anything.How can i fix this please? This usually happens when I start uploading and sometimes when I browsing the net too
