I'm using Mint 16 Mate 64-bit.
I have tried a few commands / packages ( mail, sendemail, mutt ) but no matter what it fails to send. Some of the tools apparently don't implement SSL, while others don't appear to allow you to specify a username and password or server.
What is the best way to send an email with SSL from the terminal? That is, connecting to an SMTP server on port X, with SSL enabled, and providing the account user name and password in the command.
