Somehow the printer file got biffed, deleting and recreating the printer solved the problem.
I can print using Mint, the printer shows as shared in CUPS. Wife has a Chromebook and needs to print to my desktop's attached printer. This works fine when using MS Windows and worked in Mint before I re-installing Mint. Her Chromebook shows my printer as being off-line. If I switch back to MS it prints. I thought I had a firewall issue but installed gufw and disabled the firewall but it didn't help.
What could be unique in Mint preventing communications with Google, I'm scratching my head on this?
