Simple question, how do I send via the command line the command that is sent when I right click the network manager applet in the bottom right of the gnome panel? Both to enable and disable all networking (not just wireless).
I have only 2 devices listed by ifconfig, "lo" and "wlan0"
I have tried:
sudo ifconfig wlan0 down
sudo stop networking
sudo /etc/init.d/networking stop
As well as the respective up/start commands and combinations of all of the above, and none of them do what the right click and deselect do!
Any help in the matter would be much appreciated!
