Can't hurt to ask

Post by rhammer01 »

This is not a question about linux but, there are some smart people on this forum that might have the answer to my problem. I have 3 computers on 3 different systems. Mint 9.0, Vista Home Premium and Apple OS X 10.5. I network the Vista and Mint with no problem. I can network the Apple and the Mint mostly. I see the Apple from the Vista but I can't see the Vista from the Apple. I can even copy files to the Apple. I have tried to google this problem and all the hits seem to show how to network to Apple but not how to connect from Apple. Ant suggestion are appreciated. Thanks!

There are plenty of tutorials on Google showing how to connect Windows and Apple machines together. Linux is similar to Windows when using Samba.

Sorry, I don't get the distinction
