Quick question

Does Mint4Win.exe need to be run from the Linux Mint CD or could you just extract the iso and run it from the hard drive?

Extract the ISO?
I think mounting it using any virtual CD utilities in Windows is more viable.

You could mount the iso and copy the mint4win.exe in the same folder as the iso.
Then unmount the iso and run mint4win.
Select the edition of the iso.
It will just use that iso to install.
Note: This won't work with Release Candidates.
For Release Candidates you have to use the Live cd.
It will create the iso from the live cd and use it to install after reboot.
Then unmount the iso and run mint4win.

The reason I'm asking is because I have a friend who wants to try Linux, but doesn't know how to set up a real dual-boot.
He's more likely to have 7zip or Winrar installed than virtual cd drive utilities.
I was just wondering if a blank CD was required.
But I tried it in a virtual machine and I see that Mint4Win works just like Wubi.
If there's no iso, it will automatically download it.
So maybe Mint4Win.exe can be offered as a separate download?
