we should think about a new slogan in my opinion.
'From freedome came elegance' is nice too, but I think we need a new one.
Since Mint is a distribution with many translations, the slogan is
hard to understand for people who don't speak english (not everyone knows the
english word 'elegance'). I also think a slogan should have a clear message and
the old slogan can be interpreted differently.
Maybe it's just my opinion, I don't want to pace anyone.
I think about something that represents the whole Mint idea but is also easy to understand.
Since Linux Mint is a long name compared to Ubuntu, we should maybe use a shorter sentence,
or just one or two words (like just 'Linux Mint - Freedome', or 'choose freedome').
Or something about the main theme of linux mint, the color green and the mint plant
(like 'Naturally free' or 'Fresh breath for free').
I think no one will disagree me when I say Linux Mint is the best looking distribution,
maybe the slogan should tell that.
Ubuntu always wants to be the Linux for Human beings, the linux for everyone everywhere, easy to use
with an nice and easy user-interface, they are the linux humanists,
where do you see Linux Mint?
Just some ideas from me, I'd like to hear yours and what you think about
the old slogan.
