Mint 9 KDE 64 Bit Install - Fail @Partition

Postby DataMan on Sat Aug 07, 2010 7:07 am

Downloaded iso md5checksum verified.
Slow burn iso md5checksum (burned image) verified against iso md5checksum

5 separate attempts to install failed at manual partition stage.
/ & /home identified to ext4 with format option selected.
Attempting to identify 16 additional partitions to mount at /mnt/<mount name>

Problem:
Installer quits completely at various stages of partition identification. No accompanying warning message (no I did not accidentally hit the cancel button).

Core hardware:
Intel 4 core processor at ~2.83GHz
8G RAM
