How does the xscreensaver work?

Postby jacatone on Fri Jul 06, 2012 5:53 pm

I'm using LM 10 LXDE. This xscreensaver program sure is confusing. I don't see a setting to have a screensaver activate after say 20 minutes anywhere. It just turns my screen blank and disconnects my internet connection. What are these "Blank After and Cycle After" features supposed to do? Could someone explain to me how this stupid program works? Thanks.

I don't understand "blank after" and "cycle after" either. I just use the same time for each. I.e., in your case let

blank after = 20
cycle after = 20

Maybe someone else can enlighten us???
