I downloaded fresh ISO of Linux Mint 12 LXDE version on CD from oficial website. Currently I have two problems. After installing Cairo-dock by command line LXDE:

sudo apt-get install cairo-dock
seems not to see the possibility of running cairo as from the login page.
As for Compiz, I use this command:
- Code: Select all
compiz --replace
After doing that, windows look almost great but seem to be black, rounded in the corners, menu at the bottom dissapears and I cannot work at anything.
Before I quit LXDE tomorrow, I wanna give it a second chance though. What do you think? How should I run compiz properly without rloose too much of my time?
