Can not change mouse settings

I cant change the mouse settings so that acceleration = 1. After changing the value, clicking apply and closing the window, the mouse behaviour is not changed. When checking the settings again, the default values are back (to acceleration = 2 and threshold = 2).

The difference between acceleration=1 and acceleration=2 is almost unnoticeable so you may want to play with the threshold a little bit as well.

The settings are indeed saved, but in order to keep the application as lightweight as possible it doesn't remember anything you change when you reopen it. No matter what you change your keyboard and mouse settings to, the application will always open with the same defaults.
