Hello fellow Mint fans, I have a Inspiron 1100 laptop that I am currently running Mint 10 LXDE. I run this older version because the newer kernal drivers won't support the Intel video chipset in this cheap laptop. So, I install Mint 10 LXDE (a great O.S.) and everything is working OKEY Dokey and then I decide to do the updates. BANG. No more can I read my USB drives. they used to auto open and I would see the contents of the drive and cruise through my files, but no more. I tried to install some mounting programs from the package manager, but it makes no difference.
Please help me figure this one out, thanks.
