[SOLVED] Mint 13 RC Mate - Freezes when switching users

Logout | Switch User. The login screen pops up and the system freezes. I left it overnight to see if it corrected itself. No luck. Any ideas on this one?

Linux Mint 14 on a P4 3.0 GHz HT with 2 GB RAM and nVidia 7300.

Logging out then logging in as the other user works fine.
