I've never heard of anything like this happening before, but it sounds like a critical bug if ya ask me. You might try to PM Husse or Clem on this one, as it could be a show stopper for new users. It's easy for new posts to get buried on here, so if ya don't have any luck with community response PM someone.

This is definitely weird and it should not happen. I'll try to reproduce this on a test machine.
