yes - but I am an all or nothing type of guy...just the way it is.

I tried running live cd on an old pc i borrowed and also my powerbook of ubunt and kubuntu respectively and i hated it - way toooooo sloooooow.

I couldn't get the feel of it.

I will ponder my situation more and make a dceidion once I have the laptop here and operating in ubuntu the way i want....I have a feeling I wil install Mint and go for it though!

I feel that strongly of Mint over Ubuntu....
