Update killed screensaver

Postby Jim H on Thu Feb 15, 2007 10:39 am

Not a big deal, but I can no longer get a screensaver to work. Preview works fine, but goes to a blank screen like I had None selected. Monitor in Power Manager is set to Never.
I read where some people had this problem, but never found a fix.
I am using Bea. I can live with it like it is, but would be nice to get it working again.
Love Mint! Keep up the great work Guys.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

My problem is not really similar, but I don't find it discussed anywhere.

Screensavers test OK, but when the screensaver initializes, the system kicks me out to a login prompt. I'm using (or not, actually, because of this problem) Bianca on an Athlon 3500+ with an ATI Radeon 9600SE AGP video card.

Anyone else seen this issue?
