2 different chinese fonts displayed simultaneously

I've just installed LM13 MATE edition. Now, after installing language support for both Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional my system displays 2 different fonts for these 2 types of characters. Any way to make it stick with one? Web browsers remain unaffected.
