Constant freezes mint 13 Cinnamon

Hi there

I currently have problems with my laptop freezing. Using REISUB does not work.

This is my pc: lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 3354.
It is quite new, i've been told that this is the problem.

Anyways I am happy to provide any information needed, I however do not know what is standard to provide at this point.

Oh and, I started with MATE and switched to Cinnamon, same freezes!

No I have not.

Is my errors caused my incompatibility?

LMDE is based on debian 'testing' so it may be more up to date

another option would be to burn a debian 'netinstall' disc on cd, about 135 mb or so, as long as you have a solid internet connection

you would want to use the new debian, not wheezy, i believe, or debian 6, but rather 7
