Hi dear Community,
i've got a problem with my Linux Mint 13 64bit installations.
After some time (i think after an update) nothing get auto mounted anymore. If I plug in my usb stick nothing happens. The same with CD and SD cards.
Also when I start "Computer" comes a Message: computer:/// is an unknown filytype. The same with Network (network:///)
The unmounted Devices are also not displayed in Caja.
If I install Krusader I see all Devices and I can mount them.
I hope I explained my problem understandable.

Extremely bad guess here....
Something lost your hostname and now none of your applications/utilities know how to communicate with your computer
Even though the functionality of mounting a USB is local, it still refers to the computer by name (behind the scenes)
You might want to backup your /home directory and do a fresh install
Again...Extremely bad guess here
