need mount samsung instinct 1, but cant.

ok. i have to pc's. one is running linux mint julia (dell deminsion 2400), and the other is running mint maya (dell deminsion 4800). for the sake of this post i am using the later of the two....
my problem is lsusb recognizes the phone

I cant find it.....and as you can see, its a 4600, not a 4800.
Julia actually recognizes the phone but it litterally blinks on and off on my desktop
