Hi,
I need to move around 250 GB of data stored in an USB ext3 filesystem and spread it into a set of 4/5 USB NTFS drives,
as I started I hit an apparently known issue in these scenarios, i.e.:
http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... ed#p646362
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/500069
what remains unclear to me is:
- In my case, is this happening just because the target drive is an USB drive? Or because it is NTFS? Or because it is both USB + NTFS?
- Does anyone know for sure if this is improved in more recente kernels? and/of if there is any workaround available for Mint (I´m using the 12.04 based version)
Thanks in advance.
