Running Ubuntu in VM space

OK, so what I want to know is.

is there anyway to run Ubuntu 32 bit from a Physical HDD within Linux Mint 64 bit, am hopping there a way to do this in VMware Player or other Virtual software...
(right now I reboot to Ubuntu 32 when needed but woul dlove to run it within Mint)
