file manager left hand colum. collapse-expand items

Hello there, i have had a look around for this topic, just wondering if it is possible to expand-collapse items in the left column in file manager, that is the items under Bookmarks, Computer, Devices, Network? This would make navigtion a little more useful for me.
I am using LinuxMint 14.1 Nadia 64bit Cinnamon. Thank you :)

i have realised that it is possible to drag and drop folders and files to a tab in Nemo, that helps :)
