Menu Button Disappeared

Hi,
I'm new to mint and using Nadia 14 MATE. I was attempting to change my menu icon when I clicked some file along "mint icon". The name seemed like it was an alternative icon choice, but it auto applied a huge image far beyond icon size. Now my menu button takes up the majority of my panel and I cannot access my menu - nor my menu options to revert it. Does anyone know a way to get back to my menu options or to resolve this issue (even if I have to restore to default)?

open a terminal (right-clicking on the desktop, opening caja and right-clicking open-terminal here) and then paste this in the terminal
