Disable Touchscreen

My dell xps has a glitchy problem with its touchscreen and it drives me crazy and I need to disable it.
I am running mint 14 cinnamon desktop.
I've tried xinput set-prop 13 "Device Enabled" 0 and that does not seem to turn off the touchscreen.
Help!
