Will Outlook run on LMDE

Microsoft is switching all of their email servers to Outlook by the end of summer 2013.
"...all users of Microsoft's Hotmail and other email services operating under different domains such as MSN.com will be automatically converted to Outlook.com by the summer, if they don't voluntarily switch before then."

Will those of us using Hotmail and/or msn who are switched to Outlook be able to run Outlook on Linux or should we begin shifting our msn and hotmail accounts to some other email???
