lost file after updates

Postby flumpy7 on Tue Feb 27, 2007 3:59 pm

Hi....still loving Bianca. Just ran the updates though (including new firefox) and get the following message instead of the linux mint homepage

File not found

Firefox can't find the file at /usr/share/ubuntu-artwork/home/index.html.

* Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.

* Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

Upon investigation the file seems to have disappeared.....was this intentional? i quite liked my homepage as it was. Not a big deal i know...just wondered if i'd lost something important? Btw love the updated Bianca menu!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

That's just the update of firefox which changed your homepage to the inexistent ubuntu-artwork page.. Ubuntu packages Firefox and they include their branding in it..
