You're not helped when smhi has downgraded their site so you must use flash to view the weather forecast....
The use of flash is spreading....
And this is the official site of the Swedish meteorological institute - no flash no forecast

You are mixing things up
The revison 1 of Elyssa is just mintAssistant 2.5 not 2.4 - which of course in itself is very important
We found out that people had a lot of problems with flash and changed between both betas (I think) and the final
It's also so that "flashplayer-nonfree" is version 9 (this is the standalone player) while flashplugin-nonfree is version 10
You can uninstall it and get ver 9 directly from Adobe
